March 27-29, 2009 |
Welcome!
The University of Florida is proud to host two wonderful conferences this spring. Please join us for the 6th annual Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference and the 32nd annual Herpetology Conference to be held at the Paramount Plaza Hotel and Suites in Gainesville, Florida.
Southeastern Ecology & Evolution Conference
The Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference (SEEC) was started at Georgia Tech in 2004 and was modeled after similar regional conferences (MEEC, the Midwestern Ecology and Evolution Conference, and NEEC, the Northeast Ecology and Evolution Conference). SEEC is hosted by a different southeastern university each year.
The purpose of SEEC is to provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere for students in the fields of ecology and evolution to network and to share research with their peers. Presenters are graduate students, undergraduate students, and postdocs from southeastern schools (or from outside the region but doing research in the southeast).
You do not have to present a talk or poster to attend the conference; anyone with an interest in ecology and evolution is welcome to attend.
Thanks for your interest in SEEC and we look forward to meeting you in Gainesville in March!
