Interested in writing for the Source?
Thank you for reading the SNRE Source, a student, faculty and alumni driven online magazine. In May, IFAS Communications awarded the SNRE Source with a GOLD IFAS Images Award, one of the highest honors we can receive. While our office was elated, the award should go to those who have contributed in the past as our stories originate from the experiences of the faculty, students, staff, and alumni within SNRE and our sponsored programs. Our spring issue was read by almost 10,000 online readers and we are working to spread the word and we need your help!
This fall we would like to hear about your work and experiences. Highlight your interesting summer research project, debate an issue with your faculty advisor, or just send us a comment for what you would like to read about. We'd love to publish your article, so let us. We'll accept and review all articles, but here are some proposed topics we are considering for the next two issues.
- Point/Counter-Point--Endangered Species Act
- Student perspectives: Life in the field or in the lab
- Upcoming books and publications
- Human dimensions of natural resource management
- Recently awarded funding, honors and recognitions
- Teaching experiences
Alumni please keep us posted on your professional journey after graduation. Write an article and send your words of wisdom to other struggling students.
- How did your SNRE degree help you in your current work or in the transition from student to professional?
- What are you doing now?
- Describe your professional experiences?

We look forward to your responses!!
