Nichole Lynch-Cruz

Undergraduate Student Spotlight

School of Natural Resources and Environment undergraduate Nichole Lynch-Cruz has received a BS in environmental science with a minor in agricultural law.

During her years in SNRE, she served as undergraduate president of the SNRE student council. "SNRE has truly fostered my leadership development during my time at the University of Florida," she said. "Without the personalized experience and academic support I received from SNRE, I don't think I could have made it at such a large university as UF."

Lynch-Cruz plans to pursue a master's degree in public administration and environmental science and policy from Columbia University and then apply to law school. She hopes to become a politician at the federal level and advocate environmental causes.

"I owe all of my accomplishments to SNRE," she said. "I hope that someday I can give back as much as they have given me."
