SNRE Partners with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The School of Natural Resources and Environment has signed a memorandum of understanding with The Conservancy of Southwest Florida to raise funds in support of UF faculty, students, and the conservancy for joint research and education projects of importance to southwest Florida.

Priority areas for programs are the protection and restoration of coastal wetlands and estuaries, restoration ecology, growth management and sustainable practices, and environmental education. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is a scientific and educational nonprofit organization leading the challenge to protect and sustain southwest Florida's natural resources.
